This is a really simple recipe that I have been using all the time recently. I am in the middle of training for a marathon and my legs have been tired and sore, especially now that the milage is ramping up. Since turmeric has anti inflammatory properties, it is the perfect drink for my recovery days! Also it tastes delicious!

This is a single serving recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup soy milk
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (to taste)
  • nutmeg on top

Instructions:

  1. Heat all ingredients together in a saucepan on medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. THATS IT, serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.
